Lick your fingers and tap your feet as the High Desert Music Festival and BBQ Showdown returns to the High Desert, June 28-29, 2014, at the Victorville Fairgrounds. Experience the very best in entertainment as you listen to sounds of Pop, Blues, Rock, Old School, R & B and smell the aroma of the nation’s top pit masters as they compete for thousands of dollars in cash, prizes and more importantly, national bragging rights. The region’s top Que-ers will try to dethrone 2013 Champion, Wild Willy’s Smokin’ Hot BBQ, as they compete in this jaw droppin’, smoke out, sanctioned by the prestigious Kansas City Barbecue Society. The cook off features competitions in four mouth-watering categories: Beef Brisket, Pork Ribs, Chicken and Pork. One team also will be named champion of the event and as a festivalgoer, you can cast your vote toward the People’s Choice award. Jam to the music of award winning entertainment including the great Little Willie G-the Original Voice of Thee Midnighters, Rock n Blues Queen, Laurie Morvan, a Motown tribute featuring the iconic 5 Tempting Men, Grammy nominated Ray Brooks, Billboard chart topper, Destenee, blues stoppers, the 60 Grit Blues Band and crowd favorites the Tuba Force, the Blue Henry’s and the Latin Express. We will also usher in the youth with Vee Nelson and honor the legends of music with a special awards tribute to music greats who will appear in person. As an added bonus, you can roll down memory lane as you cruise through the High Desert's premier car show featuring an array of standards, classics and tricked out cars and motorcycles coordinated by the All n All Car Club. Our 2014 Festival will bring more music and BBQ –down to the bone. As an added bonus, each admission ticket will include 2 tasting tickets for a day pass and a 4 tasting tickets for a weekend pass.
