If you are looking for a great time and want to prove that you are the top griller on the hill, the High Desert BBQ Showdown is for you. You can gain bragging rights while earning valuable points, cash and prizes worth over $8,000.00. During this Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event, contestants will have the opportunity to compete to see who is the “master of the grill.” Participants are judged by the the KCBS standards of appearance, taste and texture and claim the title of Grill Master.
This event is also sanctioned by the California BBQ Association and is part of the Team of the Year (ToY) contest standings.
The High Desert Music Festival and BBQ Showdown offer attendees’ music and entertainment and a great opportunity for attendees to sample your food. In addition to the KCBS judging, you can participate in a People’s Choice contest in which attendees can sample and vote for you.
Gather your taste buds and experience the very best in BBQ as the nation’s top pit masters compete in the High Desert BBQ Showdown. BBQ top grillers have been recruited to compete in this jaw droppin’, smoke out that will crown the SHOWDOWN king. The prestigious Kansas City Barbecue Society has sanctioned this event, which features competitions in four mouth-watering categories: Beef Brisket, Pork Ribs, Chicken and Pork. One team also will be named champion of the event and as a festival-goer, you can cast your vote toward the People’s Choice award.
